Old news now, but Pownce yesterday announced it was going to be closing it’s doors. Not something I am too worried about, never been a huge Pownce advocate / user. What I am more interested in is where the Pownce (“Powncers”?) team are going next, Six Apart.

Six Apart created a number of blogging platforms including Vox, Movable Type and Typepad, could we see some of the Pownce services being more integrated into blog platforms? Could be cool, lets hope once they do someone hacks it so they can be used with Wordpress too, otherwise its useless to me!
